Comments.

A new wave of comments hit my ear eating videos. And there are more and more of them! These people say that it's not ear eating, and I lie in my video titles.
They probably know what they're talking about!
But what's that then? Crinkles? Tapping? Soft-speaking? No! It's mouth sounds! No ear eating!
Wait, let's just sit down and get to the bottom of the issue.
Ear eating. What's that?
When I was starting out my ear eating videos, I was hugely inspired and encouraged by videos made by Heluna ASMR. She had a twin video and a "literal ear eating" that included real munching/chewing/kissing on the ears. The first one was simpler and didn't include a lot of real "putting silicone in your mouth" stuff. The latter said literal and it did literal. Both of them were called ear eating though.
Rapunzel ASMR also does a lot of twin ear eatings, and what she does a lot is this first Heluna's type ear eating: not really eating, but doing mouth sounds at the ears. Which sound perfectly like she's really eating off your ears!
ASMR Ppomo (whose quality and timing is outstanding) did a twin ear eating of the same kind. Again: sounds like eating the ears.
However, time flies and trends evolve. Now, there are more and more literal ear eating versions that include all kinds of ear noms and licks. So viewers may kind of get "spoiled" by this openness and start thinking that's the only option out here. If you do ear eating - eat it all, digest it! If you don't, don't even dare to call it EE!
What did I want to say? I'm not against literal ear noms and stuff.
However, everybody does their trigger in their own way. There may be dozens of ways to crinkle a noodle bag, so ear eating is no exception.
Also, mouth sounds... What's that if not mouth sounds? Eating is performed by mouth. It's there. It's the mouth that makes these sounds. And if you say it's just mouth sounds and you have to do more...
Well, there's always Pornhub or whatever out there. If it's not enough. I get a lot of comments like "why don't you show your mouth/tongue/something else?". And here it goes: I'm making a sound to trigger tingles here. Not something else. So this is the way I do it. And there's no use telling me that it's not enough.
It's enough. For me. It's my channel and I do here what I want to do. After all, if a viewer is not satisfied with the content I provide, there's always this tiny cross button in the upper right corner of the browser tab.
Seriously. I'm so tired of those who tell me I'm wrong and I know nothing about a trigger I'm making... It's all subjective. I do it my way. There's no dictionary or set of rules that will give clear directions. ASMR is not an exact science.
So let's not judge each other. Let's just relax.
